Ann Sun is a Beijing-born, LA-based film director and an alumna of USC film school. She is the founder of Fuzzy Feelings, a film and new media company. She was a fellow of Activate Impact Initiative of Women In Media and Bend Film Basecamp. She was mentored by two-time Emmy Award-winning director Mary Lou Belli.
Ann directed 2018 narrative short film SWEET AND SOUR, which screened at 14 different festivals around the world, including Frameline and Outfest. Her 2024 documentary short GROWING UP premiered at Academy Award-qualifying Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival.
Her most recent narrative short ADULT SITTERS was Executive Produced by Jane Zheng (THE FAREWELL, DEAD PIGS) and James Shin (DAVE, BABY DRIVER).
Ann has also directed branded content for clients such as Blackmagic Design, NutriVsta, and Dynamite Starfish.
Before transitioning to directing full-time, Ann worked at Anita Gou's production company Kindred Spirit, where she worked on films that premiered at prestigious festivals such as Cannes, Sundance, TIFF, and Tribeca.
