Ann Sun is a Beijing-born, LA-based director, graduated from USC film school.
Ann's work is whimsical in nature and always rooted in love. She strives to make films that are raw and unapologetic. Her 2018 narrative short film SWEET AND SOUR, screened at 14 different festivals around the world, including Oscar qualifying festival Outfest. Her 2024 documentary short GROWING UP is currently in the festival circuit. She has also directed branded content for clients such as Blackmagic Design, NutriVsta, and Dynamite Starfish.
Her most recent narrative short ADULT SITTERS is currently in post-production.
Before transitioning to directing full-time, Ann worked at independent film production company Kindred Spirit, where she participated in films that premiered at prestigious festivals such as Cannes, Sundance, TIFF, and Tribeca.
