
Ann Sun is a Beijing-born, LA-based director, and an alumna of USC film school. She is the founder of Fuzzy Feelings, a film and new media company, and a member of 2025 Activate Impact Initiative by Women In Media.
Ann's work is whimsical in nature and always rooted in love. She strives to make films that are raw and unapologetic. Her 2018 narrative short film SWEET AND SOUR, screened at 14 different festivals around the world, including Frameline and Outfest. Her 2024 documentary short GROWING UP is currently in the festival circuit.
Her most recent narrative short ADULT SITTERS is currently in post-production. The film is produced by Salon de Paprika, with fiscal sponsorship provided by Film Independent, and Executive Produced by Jane Zheng (THE FAREWELL, DEAD PIGS).
Ann has also directed branded content for clients such as Blackmagic Design, NutriVsta, and Dynamite Starfish.
Before transitioning to directing full-time, Ann worked at independent film production company Kindred Spirit, where she participated in films that premiered at prestigious festivals such as Cannes, Sundance, TIFF, and Tribeca.
